These are a ton of fun in small rivers. Water cooled mine with a water pickup and runs 3s on a cheap HobbyWing ESC. Without water cooling the motor will melt the motor mount. Yours does look a little slow, on my V1's there is a low/med/high on the controller. Check if this V2 does as well.

The startup phase for the old model is the other way round. First turn on the boat, then the transmitter. Kids love to play tag with these.

So whats different? I have two of the V1's, looks like the radio and motor? Im disappointed there is no reverse in these, and mine leak water like crazy.

My Jet Jam V2 is leaking like crazy. It fills with water after a few minutes of driving in my pool. Then the motor gets flooded with water and it crawls back to me. Any ideas?

I tried marine grease to waterproof around the rubber seal. Did not fix the issue.
I tried it in my sink with the top off and ran the motor. No water leaked in.

I can only assume the leak is coming in through that rubber seal. Or it enters when flipped upside down. Or when under full throttle. I still have to test some more situations.

The thing about these is that the servo or reciever will eventually fail. So I completely replaced them with standard electronics not the weird five wire servo things. So be prepared to upgrade it unless you want to continually replace the servo and reciever.
they used to sell them with five wire servos seems they might have finally changed that

Hey was this boat was updated. When they first cam out it didn’t get best best reviews. Well they must be a good little boat cause there still being sold. But Really how good is it.

I wish they would have upgraded the speed not the just the radio. Hardly enough changes to designate a new version. They could have at least included a Li-Po instead of those cheap Li-Ion cells they include. Oh well, great for kids all the same. Nice pool Swabbie!
