Fucking sick! The atmospheric layering is amazing. The vocals were a tad lost in the mix for me, but I think they seem to be inteded as just another instrument in the grander scheme. Looking forward to the rest!

The fact that Vindsval has pioneered experimental and avant garde black metal makes a traditional Norwegian black metal album seem like an odd choice.

And then @1:54 happens and you realise that this track is performed with the same burning passion that Ultima Thulee was, albeit with more technical skill. I don't have a clue how he does that, but I'm fairly certain that I will be listening to this album on a daily basis once it comes out.

I did not read the description and was about to post that this sounded a lot like a Memoria Vetusta from Blut Aus Nord. I really like how Vindsval works with melodies and textures

Why is it so reminiscent of MV3 - Paien, both in structure and in pace and mood. Of course, with other drums and a softer and deeper sound. Maybe the album was originally called Memoria Vetusta 4?
