Energy Modeling for BEPS

This webinar, in partnership with Baumann Consulting, will give an overview how energy modeling can be used to develop strategies for BEPS compliance. We will demonstrate how to evaluate the impact of potential energy efficiency measures on existing buildings energy performance. This seminar will focus on the building analysis workflow, including minimum standards and quality control. We will discuss how to identify and package energy efficiency measures into energy efficiency scenarios, and use the subsequent analysis as a basis for developing comprehensive energy efficiency improvement roadmaps. We will use real-world project examples to discuss best practice and share lessons learned. While the energy modeling approach described is software-independent, the course will demonstrate the analytical process using RETScreen® Expert software.
