I'm here to note that a thermal imager on a phone needs to become as common as cameras on phones.
I've been using a CAT S61 for about a month, and you wouldn't believe how useful having thermal at hand can be.
Even just dropping a small object while assembling something suddenly becomes easier: just point your thermal imager at the carpet, and you'll see the heat transferred from your hand to the tiny object still standing out against the backdrop.
Or if you are trying to light a grill during the day, but can't see if the back burner is actually on, just pull out the thermal imager, and instantly your question is answered.
I don't want to own a phone in the future without thermal imaging.
