I love just how really perfect this song is for the series. The song itself is a happy and innocent one, but when paired with the series becomes extremely disturbing. Instead of having this "sad that it's over, but hopeful for the future" vibe, it becomes this terrible story of a child being killed and possessing a lifeless robot. "Spring" in this case means the innocent childlike wonder that was forcefully taken when they were killed. "It's gonna be a different world", instead of meaning "different" in a fairly good way, means that the child's entire perception of reality will change when they "wake up".

I think a greatly overlooked part of the lyrics used in the trailer is when the 'Ghost Detector' is turned on in front of Chica. The lyrics being '-this gets more clear when it's more cloudy every day'. I believe this is the spirits trying to justify/explain their actions. Emphasizing that their current state is miserable, and this may be some sort of way to feel catharsis, or at least some form of relief. I may be looking too much into this, but given the amount of detail going into the trailer I get the feeling this could be very intentional.

This is what fnaf NEEDS no mall no fancy future animatronics no missions no complicated mechanics no spring trap coming back 7 fucking times twice is enough no glitchtraps just some dead kids in some old bots in a small pizza place trying to get to you with some lore sprinkled in.

The song is so tonally dissonant that is strangely fits the series fantastically. Also some of these lines work so well.
