Interesting facts!
Assuming that Tarkin didn't allowed anyone to evacuate the Death Star, do we have any idea about how many people were on it at the time of its destruction?

I don't know....it seems like if so many Wookies were used as slave labor to build the Death Star, there would have been hair EVERYWHERE....

1:05 In a recent video on the Star Wars Youtube channel, Pablo Hidalgo says that it didn't take 20 years to build the Death Star, but 20 years to get the super laser working and so the station was built before that. This also makes sense for canon since Death Star II was nearly completed in just 4 years without the struggle of many years to get the super laser working like the first.

You should read the book Tarkin. It gives more info about the construction of the Death Star

Question for your Q&A. What would you think of the Legends universe existing in canon as an alternate timeline? Like how the original Star Trek exists in the new Star Trek continuity.

To be honest, I think the whole explanation for the weak point on the Death Star was absolutely genius. I don't know if I missed this, but was the reason in Legends just simple technical fault? Because if it was, I'd say the new Canon did a way better job at the reasoning for that.

Its interesting to note that the Death Star was being built throughout the Clone Wars

Who's to say that the final scene in Episode 3 is in fact 20 years before Episode 4 (or Rogue One)? it could have been 10 years, 5 or even two! But now with Galen Urso having been recruited and his daughter aging 15 years, it seems 15 years is about the right time, not necessarily 20.

The Death Star was first mentioned 5 years after Phantom Menace during the 2000 book Outbound Flight. It was first shown on the planet Geonosis during Attack of the Clones and made its first official appearance at the end of Revenge of the Sith. No matter what anyone else says, I still look at Legends as still part of Star Wars and I also like the new canon stuff. There is nothing wrong with trying to merge Legends and Canon together, that is what divides the fans. You should do a video about the second Death Star, I've always wanted to know where that idea came from and when did it start getting constructed. I'm guessing that it happened during the 3 years between Episode 4 and Episode 5.

Legends a lot much better Canon, Legends the weakness of the exhaust port were already there when rebels alliance found instantly but Grand Moff Tarkin was already in charge oversee of the DS project.

Canon ver. they copied a country named "Scariff" from Ireland & Planet Druidia's space-shield from Spaceballs. DS already oversee by Tarkin and monitor Krennic & Erso still the same from Legends but add & edit into different ver.

Lol imagine putting in all this work for 20 years only for a ragtag group of Rebels to blow it up shortly after.

I liked the build up in Catalyst during the Clone Wars. It wasn't Sidious's evil plan combined with scheming Tarkin. It was a super weapons in an arms race (Manhattan Project, anyone?), although its roots are still from Sidious's machinations. And its continued development after the war was due to the corrupt propaganda that the Empire was spewing to justify such immense power. It feels more real than a few evil people coming together with an over-the-top evil plan.

Rogue One is good, no doubt; but personally, I like more the "Legends" construction.
