The way Abby manipulates and guilts Maddie here is sickening. Telling a child to disregard her mothers wishes or authority and ignore her to go back in the building...shes a CHILD of course she's going to do what her mother says in a situation like this. Abby was and is toxic.

Christi said it here… Melissa was scared her kid wouldn’t be on top and pushed ahead of the other kids. Poor Maddie… all the adults on her life used her for one reason or another

Ugh I hate how Maddie was treated by Abby in this scene. I wished there was a take from Melissa to see what she thought about that talk.

Whenever Abby would gaslight Maddie it was just disgusting. It’s like Abby’s happiness is Maddie’s job and that’s why she feels like she has to win “for Abby” you could see it when Maddie forgot her dance and had that severe anxiety/panic attack when she ran off. There was such a weird codependent relationship that Abby had with Maddie as in Abby being codependent on Maddie in ways (Christi and Kelly talked about it on their podcast) and it was like she lived vicariously through Maddie. Christi & Kelly even said the girls all experienced abusive treatment/trauma from Abby including Maddie, hers was in a different way than the others but that doesn’t discount it. Yet people hate on Maddie and act like she didn’t have trauma or experience emotional abuse because of how the show portrayed her.

I saw this video a 1000 times and still amaze me how Abby sees fine that kids go against their mother …. We all know Abby and her mother had a very difficult relationship and she never was a mother either so is no surprise that she is the way it is

It is sooo amazing seeing how Abby manipulate this kids against their own mother when she said why did you not come in she said that her mother did allowed I s like she instigate that don’t listen to your mother or your mothers are …. This and that all negative vibes … and Abby and Melissa broke the healthy relationship between Chloe and Maddie those kids love each other you ca see it in the earlier season and also Abby knew that Chloe was at the exact of the same level of Maddie Chloe is a wonderful dancer if Abby weren’t make Chloe fragile telling her she wasn’t good and the fight w Cristi and Melissa lies and talking shit about Chloe she roll her eyes or enter the studio w her nose up (some of you ever saw Chloe doing that ?) and all that she would even better than Maddie and when Abby saw that she did and she have to do something for that to no happening…. And the other kids also were beautiful dancer and I’m complete sure that Chloe had the same attention that had Maddie she would surpass Maddie but Abby destroy Chloe

would you happen to have a video someone took of a competition from around 2012? It was an improv challenge with a bunch of dancers on stage. I remember Maddie was towards the front, Nia was in the mix doing a death drop, and I think Brooke was there too. Do you know what I'm talking about? I literally haven't seen it since 2012.
