The 500e is a city car, and also the first electric car that Fiat introduced on the European market.

The car got a 42 kWh battery (37 kWh usable capacity) which gives it an official range (WLTP) of 320 km. In reality it is closer to 260 km.

This car is front wheel powered by an electric motor that delivers 87 kW (119 hp) of power and 220 Nm of torque.

It accelerates in 9,0 seconds from 0 to 100 kmh (officially) and got its top speed at 150 kmh. In this video, we accelerated to 100 in about 9,5 seconds. The road surface was a little damp, which explains the difference.

Thanks to its 85 kW DC CCS charger it can be charged from 10% to 80% in 25 minutes. At a household AC socket (10A/2,3kW) it takes about 17 hours for a charge from 10% to 100%.

In Europe, the Fiat 500e Cabrio (42 kWh) costs about 31.000€, VAT included. The cheapest 500e is a Berlina version with 24 kWh battery. That one costs about 24.000€.
