But I love how Dan never gave up on Serena and he was a good balance for her. But I believe that Dan really loved Serena and not just the idea of her, but he believed in the good of her.

I think this is really hard though because it was obviously good that Dan believed in Serena, but the others new a time when Serena would do something like this probably every other week, and it is really easy to fall back to these things. I think they just didn’t believe her because they were scared for her and didn’t want anything similar to happen again. I mean even Serena herself believed she did it after she saw the staged picture, so I really don’t think you can blame any of the others for wanting her to get help immediately

They were cute, but Dan judged Serena more than everyone. She constantly shattered his idea of her. He put her on pedestals, and when she wasn’t the angel he perceived her as, it repelled him.
