This is like possibly the closest we’ve gotten to one of those high-tech medbays seen in so many sci fi films and games.

A shame they don't use this for many other ailments. Can help heal brain injuries and so much more!

My story is too long but basically, I had high dose radiation for Tonsil Cancer and afterwards most of my teeth snapped at the gumline. 2 years, 6 dentists here on Maui, all refused to pull my teeth because of the high likelihood of "bone death." I am so very very claustrophobic, and the radiation sessions had me in panic mode. Now ive found a dentist in Honolulu that will pull my teeth but only if I do this treatment here. They want 30 of them! I'm on Maui so that's 2 plane flights a day, 5 days a week for almost 2 months. If you click my icon here, I have a video showing my teeth. The depression has been horrific. I have to do it though.. Please say a prayer!

My dog goes outside when he’s sick and usually there’s lot of trees and plants outside which produce oxygen. This makes a lot of sense now.

I had to undergo treatment for CO poisoning. My COhg was at 40% so I had to be taken 50 miles to a hospital that had one available. It was a neat experience but makes your teeth feel weird while inside it.

Important question: In your experience and research, is separately Ozone IV therapy and HBOT safe with most young healthy adult patients with a very small intracranial aneurysm? As their is in the scientific literature extensive laboratory and clinical evidence supporting the role of Ozone and HBOT in blood vessel protection and Endothelial Cell function: Ozone and HBOT has been shown to improve: hemodynamic stress, hazardous NOS activity, endothelial cell function, oxidative stress, is vasoprotective, anti inflammatory, lowers blood pressure and has vasodilatory properties. Would love to please hear your scientific opinion. Thank you very much for your time!

WOW. That reminds me somewhat of the old iron lung for polio. Thankfully none of today's young folks will ever need anything like that thanks to Dr Jonas Salk. I may have a tough time in the chamber because of its small size and my fear of things like the MRI machine which I crawled out of. But this looks much easier to take.

Hi. I am from Bangladesh. My mother is an oral cancer survivor. She got necrosis on her left jaw because of radio therapy. She has stainless steel on her operated area(mouth). Is it risky to get HBOT for her having stainless steel on her mouth.? Urgent to know. Thanks

Can they hear the external TV from inside the chamber? Or are there speakers inside the chamber? How do others outside the chamber communicate with the patient, and vice-versa? Is there any kind of emergency call button to let the nurses/attendants know, in case the patient has a problem of some kind?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment where a patient breathes 100% oxygen under pressure in a pressurized chamber.

The oxygen is pushed into the plasma, into the lymphatics, and into the distal tissues and it creates the body's capability of creating angiogenesis which in turn brings more blood and healing factors to an area that is hypoxic. This has miraculous effects on healing.

The patient is placed in the chamber and the treatment is usually almost 2 hours and while the patient is in the chamber, he/she can watch television which is mounted on the outside of the chamber.

Usually it takes about 30 treatments but sometimes patients see results sooner.

In this treatment do you pump 100% oxygen into the chamber or do you just increase the pressure of atmospheric air by 3 times, so that extra air brings in more O2 along with it?

How does anybody afford it? My doctor wanted me to get 40 treatments. His wound center charges $1896.00 per treatment. Medicare only pays 80%, leaving me with a co pay of $380.00 per session. That's $15, 200.00 for 40 visits. Does anyone have any suggestions?
