When i had this rouge it wouldn't even let me go on the internet so i pulled out my flash drive and used Spy hunter 4.0 it really works and saved me a lot of stress nice vid.

Hey the version infected friends cpu was for xp date of 9/1/2012;
When loading safe mode the tools you spoke of did not find any errors since this malware is load at windows prefetch! Any how once it started you lost control of any windows tool, like tastmgr, ie8, etc. the same old viruses found and $ to fix
What I found was a file in windows/prefetch named veuznug.exe. - delete it and run the tools suggested. Anyhow even pcmicro did not flag this file running from a safe mode, just too new?

I was about to type the thing into the run bar and then my screen went off and the little light kept flashing on it so I switched the computer off from the mains and turned it back on and now the Virus isn't there anymore. Fixed?

I went into safe mode and removed all threats with malwarebytes but that security shield crap still keeps poping up! What do I do?

I just got this Fn thing, and the guide is awesome, but no matter what name I change it to it doesn't open, and the key doesn't work either :-/

I got all of that all up until I opened the winlogon.exe. Once I opened it I didn't see the virus, I however seen the yellow circle you have under explorer.exe, But under my explorer.exe it shows a shite square with a blue pen on top. Is it the same thing?
Anyway I went to my C drive and to appdata and I still didn't find it there. Is it possible it could be in another folder?
