“Rough Riders? Um, let me call a guy who knows about this.”

Maybe I'm just not getting it but shouldn't Mark have known what guidons are used for? Even dismounted cavalry would still use them to form their lines. That was the whole point, it wasn't decoration, they used them to guide troop formations during battle. I see no reason why a guidon would be left behind during a battle.

People today fake Pokemon cards. With that being said, I side with Rick. Nobodys gonna pay 10k for a "maybe it's the flag".

Seller: "Teddy Roosevelt was only with the Rough Riders for about a year."
History Channel: "The unit existed for just 133 days."

Teddy Roosevelt was such a badass man lol he was without a doubt one of the most hands on tough and practical president/politician that our country has ever had.

Couldn’t make a deal, but a firm hand shake from Mark is a nice consolation prize!

When Erik did that hand above handshake at 2:37 I was looking for a 'get out of my shop' offer from Rick

It's Erik from the Gettysburg Museum of History. He really knows his stuff, better than any of Rick's "experts". Proves how staged this is, Erik bringing a piece from the museum to sell at a pawn shop. I doubt this would ever happen.

DUDE! Mark always gets it right. Just not always in your favor. I also think this is the dude that brought in hat he claimed was John Wayne's from 'The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance', he claimed the white stains were from a scene where the Duke shot some paint cans. I have a 1080P copy of the movie, the only one who got paint on him was James Stewart. Plus the hat he brought in was intact with white stains, in the final shot of the movie John Wayne's hat had a big gaping hole in the top of it, cinematically emphasizing his characters state of poverty at his funeral.

I wonder if you ever visited a reservation with that flag. If Robin Williams was here he could play the part.
