Acorn Works Ltd - Office Refurbishment Midwich

This initial phase of a two-year rolling programme of investment in their headquarters saw a close collaboration between Midwich’s senior management team and the staff at Acorn over a period of 9 months to plan, design and deliver a modern, motivational marketing department within a previously unused area of this building. Whilst maintaining the key brief to provide a ‘wow-factor’ Acorn had to continuously consider the requirements for compliance with building regulations and health and safety legislation.

The successful marriage of state-of-the-art AV hardware with contemporary furniture and seating results in this spacious and flexible working environment, all delivered in less than four weeks whilst the surrounding departments remained open for the client’s staff. The use of curved glass walls to create ‘relax and inspire’ zones, further reinforced with feature flooring of artificial grass and wood-plank, provided Midwich with desperately needed additional meeting spaces.
