@MyEverConstantSmile It's crazy to think that guitar started it's life 50 years ago with a bright red Sunburst. I thank god Gibson used paint that was vulnerable to sunlight, which made the color fade. If they had never faded, we may only have the Cherry Sunburst option on a Les Paul today. Most of the finishes available on Les Pauls today are based on faded '58-'59 Les Pauls such as Iced Tea, Honey Burst, and Light Burst.
