Apple has revealed some pretty impressive future plans (like the switch to ARM CPU's in their Macs) but they also showed some Mac OS UI redesigns that validate the most popular UI trend right now. Soft UI is now both popular on Dribbble, and also pushed onto the computers of millions of people. Pretty cool!

So should you use modern / soft-ui in your own projects? That depends!

What really bugs me is how pictures also have rounded corners in QuickLook. That is a direct hit to functionality.

I don't really like the dribble design. They seem to have blown up margins, unrealistic and not functional. They just look appealing to the eyes but bad UX. What do you think?
