Hardware Cancelled & iPhoneOS 14: Final WWDC 2020 Leaks

Just hours ahead of Apple's highly-anticipated WWDC event, we are now hearing that new hardware (iMac, AirTags, AirPods Studio) will not be announced after all. :( iOS 14 might be called iPhoneOS 14. I paid $5 to update my iPhone 3G from iPhone OS 2.0 to iPhone OS 3.0. iOS 4 was the first free update... so yeah, I like iOS xD

iOS literally means iPhone Operating System so iOS will not change as a name.

clarify: podcast are only on itunes. Youtube=broadcast. Spotify or anthing else is Internet broadcast\ internet radio show. calling it a podcast means its on itunes and can be downloaded and synced with an ipod. you have a show or broadcast on youtube. you cant have a podcast exclusively on youtube or any other platform.

iOS runs is not called iPhoneOS because of the iPod touch. If It’s renamed to iPhoneOS, the name would not make sense for the iPod Touch 7.
