I work as a nurse in the UK, the amount of women I see from this and similar cultures getting abused (raped, pushed, hit, burned etc) by their husbands is insane. If that wasn't bad enough being force to marry some asshole and endure this life of misery. I don't care if this video is fake or not, this is happening on daily basis and it's absolutely heart braking and disgusting. How can you call yourself a man? Pathetic.

Я татарка. Мне 66 лет. Я с ужасом вспоминаю целых 4 года, что прожила с первым мужем. Ходила с синяками под глазами... Очень было стыдно перед сослуживцами, а ведь был непьющий. То хожу на работу без платка, то хожу в брюках, то на каблуках, находил к чему придраться. Дошло до того, что он наматывал на свой кулак мои волосы и ударял об стену. Это был предел. Я забрала дочь4 лет из садика, сходила с работы домой за документами, оформила отгулы и уехала навсегда от этого изверга. Сейчас дочери 43 года, с отцом не общается, говорит, он мне никто. The anger I feel while watching this is immeasurable. It's hard enough for women in America to escape abuse, but women in certain other countries literally have no option but to ensure it. I am so thankful I will never know that kind of suffering and I'm so very sorry that they do.

I know a migrant from Afghanistan who is severely traumatized. The husband slit her sister's throat in front of her. She was raised liberally and went to hell. She then freed herself and went to the women's shelter with her children and had to hide for years.
