They should have made a deal at start of the war.
Now Russia is in much strong position. They have all the cards.
EU really screwed themselves going along with US strategy. When US policies changes every 4 years.

Alongside Ukrain, Turkey is also a country that is multi-ethnic and it also banned Kurd language for many many decades.

did the interviewer interrupt... every time? 🎉

Lavrov's analogy of the language ban is totally false. In the country of Turkey, where he sits and talks, the Kurdish language is banned, and Arabic is removed as official language.

---- < @ 1: 49, Lavrov needs to become more informed so as not make false, slanderous accusations. There was never an agreement by NATO that former Soviet countries could not join NATO, not in the 1991 Belavezha Accord, nor the1994 Budapest Memorandum, nor in the 1997 NATO-Russia Founding Act.

@ 4: 35, Russia created its own situation of "isolation" due to its unlawful invasion of Ukraine, beginning in 2014. .... There are NO guiding principles for Russia's "multi-polar" world hegemony where every nation can "do whatever they want" (except Ukraine, of course, or any other sovereign state Russia and/or its imperialist sympathizers want to invade)
.... A multi-polar world order is NO order. It is a recipe for world wars: invasions of sovereign states, more economic conflict and the end of the objective for human rights within the UN. It's not a plan for sovereignty of states or individual freedom.

When Russia says war is a natural /desirable human condition, they mean for others to die not them. Putin's "special military operation" is aggression and is, in itself, a war crime.

@ 4: 46, The claim that Russia has not been and is not, currently, a colonizing force and has never attacked anyone is propaganda. Their multi-polar strategy abandons sovereign states and opens the door to "colonization" on steroids. NATO is a defensive coalition and, realistically, the safest solution for Ukraine and Russia. The problem, as I see it, is Russia's imperialistic agenda.
