ICC Shuttle Diplomacy

A day after president Mwai Kibaki named a seven - member team of government ministers led by vice - president Kalonzo Musyoka to launch a second round of diplomatic efforts targeted at wooing the united nations security council, to prevail on the ICC to defer Kenya's post election violence cases, the orange democratic movement has again dismissed the move as futile, and a waste of taxpayers' money. The party's key legal adviser and one of Prime Minister Raila Odinga's lieutenants, lands Minister James Orengo, sharply faulted the new diplomatic shuttle mission, and further accused some members of the team appointed to execute it, of ridding on the initiative to gain individual political mileage.
