If you haven't paid attention to Dyson Daniels this season, you should probably start doing it because the rookie is really impressive and is making an impact on a very good team.

Dyson has been very impressive on both ends and has earned Willie Green's trust to guard opposing great players.

“When I checked in, coach just looked at me and said, ‘You’ve got Luka Dončić,'” Daniels recently recalled during a lengthy interview with The Athletic. “I was just like, ‘Alright, let’s do this.'”

I’ve been fairly high on Dyson. Had him at fourth best prospect on the fun board.

I’m glad people are valuing and appreciating how good he is on defence as the versatility he offers there especially in his situation where they have a lot of scorers and other good defender means he can cna still carve out a role that might not be available to a pure scorer as a rookie this year on that same roster.

Anytime you can pick up a Pg that's 6'5" + that sees the floor is great.
Modern-day NBA the floor is spread more and passing lanes are wider.
The next 5 years you will see kids that move the rock.
The great manipulate the defense to create the passing lanes they want.
Those players surprise you and wow you. Daniel's is very good, let's be patient....and see, playing on a team with finishers sure helps!!

Had to search for a video talking about this kid. Dyson Daniels is really good. Maybe he gets overshadowed by his team but if you watch the games his impact is huge.

After the draft I picked Pels over wins on the season . I was wishing raps would make a trade to Portland to pick him up. Going to be a stud

The Boomers backcourt going forward is going to be fun to watch with Daniels and Giddey, along with Proctor at Duke coming through. The passing level of those first two guys is off the charts.

What is it with Australian playmakers, Dyson, Giddey, Ben Simmons.

I knew he was going to be a steal because he was still growing and has that mamba mentality on the court.

Im not seeing Kobes skill..but rather an Andre Iguodla game.

Pascal siakam for Dyson daniels Brandom ingram and 2 firsts. Who says no? Then trade Fred + picks for a good center

Let’s slow down a lil, he’s only averaging 5 ppg he needs to show he can score before any of this talk

If he somehow becomes a star it definitely won’t be on the pelicans I would hold your horses just cause he torched the raptors dude is 19

How is he underrated? He was picked 8th. Jalen Williams was picked 12th and is outperforming most rookies. He's currently 5th on the Rookie of the Year "ladder".

Like his upside but he's going to be severely limited on Pelicans, needs to be traded for opportunity.

If he gets it at 19 then he will make full time starter at 21. You can’t find many smart pg with his defense and size. I think he needs to learn to play make one on one a little better, he has a nice floater but he needs a mid range fadeaway. Once he figures out angles and how to take easy shots over smaller defenders the kid will be a solid starter. I don’t see star yet until he handles the ball better and creates his own shots. But pelicans have a solid player no matter what. His passing is so smart. Pelicans will be contenders for a long time
