i love this game. watched tons of tutorials in order to become better, found a really fun time in grinding ball and car control, learning to freestyle is my favorite unwind time to relax. never come across videos as detailed and informative as this masterclass of his. i feel like normally any tutorial video would just be along the lines of "here are the common things everyone should know, now grind it until it clicks for you" and these masterclasses from tuf are like "here's all the little crucial details in-between" which help alot.

Yo Mak!! I just want to say thank you SO MUCH. I've watched tons of musty tutorials and none of them are like yours. seriously. I watched this video yesterday, did a few hours of training and did a few hours today as well. Now I am hitting mustys at 100+ kph consistently WITH the flip cancel/delay. I am looking at your training now, I would love to get in a few sessions. Thank you thank you.

This is truly the funnest part of the game to me. When you can go in free play and learn new skills just like your favorite players. It's so addicting!

JUST FYI - Power Mustys...

The reason why cancelling the musty and releasing can generate more power is because energy can't be created. The flick itself can only impart so much power, to get extra power you need to convert the downwards momentum ball forward with the catch and release path of the Musty flick.

So by delaying a musty the ball simply has a small time longer to increase its downward acceleration before being redirected forwards by the flick. It's a simple piece of the physics that make up the game that can speed up understanding the Musty if known from the start.

I think Musty's are the most underrated mechanic because its the only movement that can produce huge power with zero boost purely by using the gravity in game. (think falling off the sidewall with no boost... wait, drop with the ball and convert that speed into a power musty and score from anywhere. It's a common fall back for myself)

I've scored a Penta musty slap, still trying to go back now and learn the actual scoops, it definitely takes more control. That tip in the video to avoid slaps is huge, way bigger than most probably realize. If you waste your time training the slaps (like me lol) you'll just have to go backwards later on. Start learning actual scoops first and get consistent with those, best advice I think you gave in the video because it describes my situation so well lol
