Only 3 teams have won BO5s against all the top 4 LEC teams by points (G2, Fnatic, BDS, and MDK), and these 3 teams are G2, Fnatic, and MDK, as they have beaten the other 3 at least once (BDS hasn’t won a BO5 against any of the 3). In the Season Finals, they have been the 3 best teams by far, and now many people are complaining because in the Summer BO1s, MDK barely made it into playoffs, but maybe you’d prefer SK, who won 88% of their games in the Summer Regular Split, even though they played horribly in all the playoffs. The 3 teams that are going absolutely deserve to go, both because of their form (the best teams in the last and most important split) and because of points. Sure, MDK made it into the Season Finals because they reached the final in Winter, I guess they should apologize for winning their BO5s against BDS and Fnatic in Winter...

Another thing for G2 Is how they are clearly the best macro team from LEC. a lot of their comebacks in midgame against other teams didnt come from opponents glaring mistakes as much as them just playing the map better and being able to gradually collect more gold over time. This has helped a lot whenever they've played hyper scaling drafts, while they can still very much win early games too if they draft for it

I always try to refer to them as Mad Lions Koi now cause I feel like they are a completely different team now. The only thing that's the same from and previous iteration is Elyoya. I feel like talking about previous year doesn't really apply, and hopefully the international curse won't apply to them from name alone.
