My current TOA team is; Baretta lead, Veromos, Verad, Sath and Melia. Cleared TOA hard with this team. It's kinda OP.

Just wanted to mention that with Dias the dark death knight, you can use him in the two light valk stage. He can easily tank with his passive along you have a healer, like Jeanne the light paladin. And he will be returning in the future with the HOH event. So, this is my small tip.

Thrain is not really starter friendly and his AI is bad, always using S3 first, wasting his double turn. A friendly DoT'er starter mon for ToA/ToAH is Melia.
If you have 2A Gina (dark mystic witch) use her, she is the best: aoe dots, aoe sleep, aoe strip and aoe benefical effect block. Despair/Focus spd/hp%/hp% with enough acc. Im auto'ing ToAH with Tyron, Vero, Gina, Sath and Linda.

I used water beast monk as leader, Rakan Riley Vero and Kro. Toa normal was easy with that team and I made it to toa hard 91. I could auto every level until I got to 91.

Mine is not that f2p tho, but it's possible to get the monster via the event right now, my team iS Tyrone, water Homie, Dark Homie, Verd and Bellenus

(L) Tyron mav spectra bella woonhak/Gildong, mav and bella can be swapped for fran Loren and Tyron swapped for vero, slow but great toan team, for stuff like water joker's toss in fire ifirit, 😂

For ld only, you usually want to do vero gorgo light homun loren +1, the +1 being whatever cc unit you have (ideally thrain or a 4/5*)

my 2 cents about toa.

The biggest thing is just use raoq, astar and a damage focussed water homunculus for toa. this can either fully clear normal toa or if your runes are not there yet easily go up to like stage 60. after that add an Icaru or 2 if you have 2 of them from your Tricaru days.
Astar, raoq, homu, +2 icaru can fully clear toa normal in both rotations (only stage you have to change the team is in the halphas boss stage).
The same thing can be used to quickly speed through the like first 40-50stages of toah

Also while garo is really nice to automate the double akroma stage if you have them this stage is super overrated these days.
I cleared toah on my 3days and 11hours old new account with only the free runes the game gives you. Just use the vero you should fuse ASAP anyways and give her full tank runes. hp% or def% in 2/4/6 (you should have plenty of those from all the free sets). I used fran and a 5* belladeon to heal against the damage.
With higher rune quality or better units this stage does not matter at all but its so easy these days to quickly manual that stage even on suuper early accounts so a specific unit like garo is nice to have but far from mandatory

Also I found rica isn't as good as water homunculus because he has more usability and control

Used the Veromos, Fran, Loren, Verd and Spectra team for the Toa normal and It worked really well.
Trying to get through Toa hard with the same team but I had to adjust a few runes before going in but thanks for the suggestions for toa teams
