October is Dyslexia Awareness Month

Did you know that in some form, dyslexia impacts 15-20% of the population?

For educators, this means that we all have students or have had students in our classroom with identified and unidentified dyslexia.

For parents, this means that our children aren't alone in their journey, and neither are you.

Part of my mission is to help people better understand dyslexia, dispel myths, and bridge the science of reading research to classroom application and practice.
