What, you skipped Texas A&M’s “Ol’ Sarge”?
A mascot who first appeared at a game in 1987 & was so disliked that he was gone by halftime, never to return.

The UF Al E. Gator of the 80's was most terrifying to the guy who had to wear the suit. It was made of rubber - perfect for a Florida afternoon heat stroke. And that giant 15-foot alligator was donated to the school by the makers of the 1980 film "Alligator". It was supposed to walk, but kept breaking down due to the heat (see rubber suit mascot stupidity).

Props for including Penn State's mascot in the background of the Alabama showcase, that thing is still terrifying to this day.

The first Oklahoma mascot was a "vaguely bulldog-looking dog" named Mex. His primary role was to keep stray dogs from wandering on to the field during games. He wasn't particularly scary, but they did bury him under the playing surface, which is a little scary to think there is a dog skeleton somewhere under Owen Field.

This Clemson alum thanks you for including the mascot that must not be named! As usual your video is home run, slam dunk, pick six...

Poor Mizzou. When you're geographically located exactly where the North meets the South and the East meets the West, an identity crisis is inevitable.

As a TN fan, I'm so glad that monster dog made it to the top. What a fantastically horrifying monster. Side not: it still exists.
