Mine only shows when both AirPods are in the case and I close then open it for the window to show up the widige does not show the case only the pods and in settings it’s also only the pods not the case any idea why this happens and how to fix it ??

These instructions only worked on my original iPod pros, not pro2. It’s annoying. I may have to stop at the Apple Store to figure this out.
