Xbox (Series X, S, One) How to Get Audio Through Headset Only & Not TV

How to have Xbox audio come through your headset / earbuds only and not through your TV. Works for Xbox Series X, Series S or One.

if you did everything right and you're like me, press xbox logo button on controller and go down to the 🔊 symbol at the bottom which is "audio and music" and make sure your "headset chat mixer" isn't on one side

i can only hear out of my right side of my turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2 and it’s really annoying i can’t get it to work i’ve tried everything can u suggest something?

When I plug my mic into the controller, I can’t hear anyone talk through my TV speakers. I check the settings and I have party chat output set for headset and speakers. I do not have mute speaker audio when headset is attached because I want to hear on both. Any ideas.

Is there a way to speak thru the tv on the wired headset? I can hear but I can’t talk n my controller wireless so I can’t hook it up too that
