West Pokot governor John Lonyangapuo’s new Kenya union party, KUP, has thrown its weight behind the registrar of political parties' move of barring aspirants defeated in party primaries to vie as independent candidates or hope to other parties. Governor Lonyangapuo has noted that the new move will bring sanity and discipline in political parties.
