Wait wait could you not just do -b/2a and get 12? I moved the 3 to the other side of the equation and then squared it to get rid of the root over 6m-26. I combined liked terms and had m^2 -12m +35. If you do -b/2a it still comes out to 12 if you had 6 and 6 together. Thoughts?
