Chitrang murdia, chirag falore, md. Sahil akhtar they all chose research over IIT and got into MIT.
IISc Bangalore is fabulous but not in the top 400 universities in the world. Where as MIT holds rank 2 and for STEM field it holds rank 1.
I think you should go for

extra tin or baat : 1) Avik ne Allen se nahi padha tha sare subjects private teacher se padha tha of his district has just solved the mocks of Allen
2) bhai chose research over engineering to know the undiscovered things of this world....huge respect..
