Respect to Robert Kraft for swallowing his pride and basically admitting he hired the wrong coach(es) and cutting ties now!

Dude was just in over his head, and did himself no favors with those disastrous press conferences

Mayo knew this was coming, he won this game out of spite.

The ultimate failure was winning today's game

Feel bad for Mayo. He was not ready to be the HC.

I hope Kraft interviews Ben Johnson and convinces Kyle Shannahan to interview too. This is an offensive league.

Wasn’t worse than Bill? Bill won 4 games with Baley Zappe at QB. 28:56

If you were gonna fire him 5 min after the game you shoulda done it after the chargers game. Made sure you got that 1st pick

He needs to clean house that also means wolf needs to go.

This is the right decision, they had no choice. When you combine the comments that Mayo made, the poor direction and lack of progress of the team, the fact that no good coordinators or free agents were going to come here, change was needed. Hopefully, there will be more changes. Wolf had a horrible draft last year (with the exception of Maye) and his free agent signings weren't any better. This year's class is a poor one so why should the Krafts expect him to do better? He has to go and they need to develop better infrastructure in the front office.

Mayo firing a start...but ONLY by firing other coaches/scouts/front office will anything improve...wWHOEVER IS COACH has to bring ALL new people who know talent/can develop them to put numbers up every week.

The majority of us pats fans are happy about this

You look at the last 10 drafts/FA periods in what the Patriots have done....there is NO question why they are the least talented team in the NFL.

Mayo looks totally lost on the side lines . His face says I don’t want to be here.

They can keep Wolf as long as he's not the GM. Keep him as a paper pusher...

What a crazy season. We are paying for all those super bowls.

The Bills were even better then the Pats at tanking a game. They did everything but put the ball boy in at QB. If wolf isn’t gone as well then there will be no change.

A lot of people are saying he was fired too quickly, but they forget that he was also hired waaaayyyy too fast..
