Hear the hard truth about KD’s time in BKN ⬇️

Being a leader isn't about screaming at team mates.

Steph doesn't scream at people.
He leads by example and trusts his team mates to do their part. When they struggle, that's when he steps up and says "get behind me, imma take you there" and when he struggles they also come together and say "get behind us, let's go"

i find kawhi and KD to be the same, they won’t bark at you, but when the chips are down, it’s that give me the ball and gtfo the way mentality that makes them a different kinda leader, they’re not verbal, but their play definitely just lets you know, he’s that dude.

I think he's the exact opposite of what he said. He wants to be that leader he described Curry to be, and Curry is the one who leads in a more humble way.

At this point?? He’s always been like this

He doesn't want to be a leader, he needs another star player to take charge and lead or else he's gonna be stressed

I hate this BS. He is one of the best ball players in NBA history. Let him be.

We call them shadow leaders. He has the capability to be a main team leader but that's comes with a more responsibility that he doesn't want.

No one way to get it done. His way can work - too.

i mean that isn't a problem at all, i think they just need a coach that would be "the voice" of the team. the guy that would make decisions and take majority of the responsibility if shit goes wrong. and believe it or not, that shit works. a famous example is the spurs dynasty. pop is the guy that makes decisions and technically bears the most responsibility when shit goes wrong. like in the finals against the heat, benching duncan for diaw.

you can be the face of the franchise and be "that guy" even if you can't be a leader

I know u don't know anything about basketball but still don't ever mention anybody in the same sentence as Steph and Lebron.. They owned the last decade and STEPH is still owning this decade. There are levels to this sh..

KD is an amazing player. No one can ever doubt that, but what more does he want. He has a solid team around him in Brooklyn. The GM and Nash put this team together for him. You got work for those championships. This is what I’m not liking about the new generation of players. They just want want want and don’t put no work into it. When I say work I mean as a teammate you need to put the work to gel as a team. They thought that they could get by last season with just there talent (Kyrie and KD). Now a days everyone wants to create a super team and make it easy. Another thing is that they are quick to blame everyone else when they lose and not take any of the responsibility as the superstar. They want all the glory/money and none of responsibility. He doesn’t have to be that leader that’s vocal and he doesn’t have to run crying for a trade when things get hard neither. I don’t know whom said this but during my first deployment we always said “In the face of adversity you will see someone true colors”

Kd just wants to ball man, he don't want those responsibilities in the background.

It don’t matter what style of leadership as player you claim to be, have to face adversity as the leader you are, and elevates the expectation of your teammates. It’s what a leader does.

If he was what he said, he’d of stay with the Warriors

Well this video pointed very good point because he if KD wants a franchise to be his own or win a championship where he is not a side kick., then he needs to be a leader and demand things from organization and players., and organization needs to be like a leader listen to him and respond in order to set things.

You can't move the goalpost of what a leader is. Kevin is a ROLE PLAYER, not a leader. He's made that clear himself. If he's just along for the ride & using his talents to do so... he's not a leader.
