Los Angeles Skid Row, Homeless. California has almost 50% of the entire U.S. homeless. WHY?

IS CALIFORNIA A MAGNET FOR HOMELESS due to free money, free drugs, free food stamps, drugs, gangs, glorification of Hollywood, divorce, violence promoted? Does some of the government try to blame it on racism when addiction is color blind?

Imagine being at your lowest point in life and still everyone puts you down. Where I live there are rampant homeless camps, but it’s on the city to treat them like fucking people and to help provide housing and assistance. At the end of the day that person grew up, has a childhood, probably fell in love, worked at some point and shit just happens. And it could happen to any of us. Doesn’t hurt to help a little

The answer is that California treats the homeless better. The rest of the US needs to put more effort into helping the homeless and take some of the weight off of California
