Jane Sayamor was a special woman, apparently beautiful and intelligent with a kind heart. King Henry was devastated when she died...

She was a kindhearted person, who diligently worked to mend Henry's broken relationship with his daughter. She tried her best to bring out the merciful side of Henry. No easy task.

Queens don't get enough credit and gratitude for the gentle guidance and support they provide behind the scenes.

Love it! My second favorite of Henry’s wives right after Catherine of Aragon. She was such a kind hearted gentle woman who truly has a great heart ♥️

Jane, such a kind soul. Having to give a life away just for a love that never lasted too long. Her son past at 15, Henry deep down only wanted a son. Not a wife, and didnt realise how the poor women truly felt. Not allowing their opinion. Essentially, Jane Seymour. Poor women.

I have mixed feelings about Jane Seymour. I am not sure she was particularly clever or bright, compared to both Katherine of Aragon and Ann Boleyn. But I do think she was manipulated by her rapacious male relatives into marriage with a very besotted king and understood exactly how much her family would benefit from this union. Her untimely death leaves us wondering how much more influence they would have gained through her - and history shows they had quite a lot, as a result.

Jane Seymour doesn’t deserve her hate, she barley even got too see her son, she was ripped apart for Henry’s liking and had live in the shadow of the late queen .

My favorite of Henry’s wives. When I was a little girl my mother would refer to me when she was angry as Lady Jane!! In other words I could keep my head 😊👸💝

Beauty is not a word usually associated with plain Jane Seymour

Jane is no better than Anne. The only person people should be blaming and seeing as a bad person is Henry. So many people think Anne deserved what she got because she had an affair with a married man but so did Jane. The one and only reason Henry was upset when she died was because she had given birth to a boy. Had she given birth to a girl, he wouldn’t have cared nearly as much. She was definitely not a beauty, she was considered homely. She wasn’t all that intelligent either, she could barely read and write. While Anne seriously tried to deter Henry, Jane tactically refused him. But in all of this, the only villain is Henry.

But, the fact that she gave him a son and died soon after, assured her a place in his heart thereafter. She didn't stick around long enough to become familiar and boring to him.

She is beautiful but you could tell she had a good heart

The eyes look like Scarlett Johanson and the actress Jane Seymour 😊

Jane was considered homely at best by even her allies, nor was she considered to be intelligent. It’s hard to see what Henry liked in her, aside from her alleged passivity and her family’s apparent fertility.
