I actually got this update when I upgraded to Windows 11 last week. I didn't realise till I downloaded it and tried to install it! Oddly, I had to update Notepad via the Microsoft Store before I got the tabbed version. Other than that, all the features you mention are there. I upgraded because I updated Windows 10 to 22H2 and it was bugged as hell, it was stuck on selective start-up and nothing I did could change it back. The only option where 10 was concerned was to do a clean install. I wasn't prepared to do that, so, I upgraded to Windows 11 instead and lost nothing. Do I like it, actually, yes I do! I'm getting used to all the things it does differently and it's nowhere near as bad as other tech channels on here have made it out to be.

Seconds on the clock was always useful, sometimes as a quick timer check, or at a glance a frozen clock would indicate a problem.

Some people might consider these things as Features, but I consider them to be an annoyance, so I've either turned them off or uninstalled them all. All I need an OS to do is launch my browser and apps. The rest is bloatware to me.

I've had the new update for a while, but it's blocking the
TranslucentTB app to make the taskbar transparent really think it's a shame

I had always assumed that my i5-7600K CPU wasn't compatible with Windows 11, so I resolved to ignore Windows 11 until I eventually build a new PC. Now, I'm finding out from people on Reddit that people with my CPU have upgraded as early as 2 years ago, and haven't had a single compatibility issue with their hardware. So, now I'm drumming up my interest for Windows 11 by watching videos like these to hyped up.

The extras using the Snipping Tool is only available opening the App. Using keyboard shortcuts doesn't show the extra items.

Upgraded back to Windows 10. Tried 11 for quite a while and got tired of using shell commands to try and regain the functionality of 10. Most of their so-called improvements are horrid.
