#QotD yes I’d much prefer if they had legacy mode. I think the idea of different machines is okay but seems too much like modded.

On the new crafting devices, that has me the most excited for minecraft that I've ever been. It looks like vanilla is finally, FINALLY, going to catch up to quality of 5 year old mods.

Make your shop like an old witches basement with mossy walls and floors
Make a witch holding stone shovel with armor stand trick
Add cauldron
Add cob webs
And things like that

There is no rocket autocrafting because they have a lot of variations, different flight durations, colors, shapes and sizes. It's the same way banners are crafted although banners have a basic form that you later use to customize a banner, fireworks don't have basic form, they are crafted straight to their final form in the crafting table.

#qotd I think having the option would be nice. The biggest change I think a new crafting system will bring is making a heads me base more necessary. It will make being a nomad on a server more difficult, since plopping down a single crafting bench is easy but having to being multiple crafting blocks is more labor. It will change how people design their bases. From a build perspective, I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys all come up with!

No. This is a GREAT idea. The new crafting blocks are no different than a brewing stand. I'm happy Mojang are no longer afraid to radically reinvent things. Most people weren't being fulfilled by the bandaid updates.

Jevin to save you some time you can click on the scroll wheel while looking at a block to equip that in your hand, of course only if you have it in your inventory

im okay with needing new crafting tables to make new things, as long as we can get some sort of automation, as in can we get them working like a furnace, where we select a product that the input can make, then feed in more input/output with hoppers. i wouldn't mind having a setup like a current furnace array except with table saws or whatever for turning blocks into slabs for example. gives us something else to make, automation is key though, if i have to go to 5 different tools to make stuff i can do in inventory now, i want a "legacy" mode for sure.

I think for your potions store, you could sell sets of potions.
Like a killing the dragon set of potions with regeneration. Feather falling. Or a killing Wither set for around 10 diamonds

Should talk with Mumbo about setting up an automatic brewing sorting system so you dont need to make them they pick what they want to brew by selection. He could probably give you an idea how. also talk to Xisuma about buying puffer fish he probably has far to many from afk fishing.

Legacy mode would be great! I run into ppl all the time that don't want to play modded and it seems Mojang is morphing the game closer and closer to modded. I like the simplicity of the legacy mode. Carry a crafting bench and do multiple things with it. If they change to where you have to have more than a crafting bench then it begins to edge closer and closer to modded. If I want to play modded I can do that, just don't take away my option to enjoy the simplicity of legacy MC.
