Please correct the explanation, 3 min it won't close automatically. No breaker will close on auto after 3 min of fault. Reclose for the first time, then it will remain in open if fault persisting. Especially auto reclosing available in only one phase fault condition. Consider in 3 phase line, one line not available for min, then entire power system will be collapsed in negative phase seq. So whatever the duty cycle mentioned, it is the breaker duty and not related to fault clearing time.
