hi I have a doubt, I followed this tutorial but while applying bridge lance I couldn't place it on the surface it says there's no positioning sketch please help me find what went wrong

Hi, I have a question in regards to Sketch Bend. What are the conditions in order for a sketch bend to work? It might be explained in the video already but I might have missed it. I can't seem to find an explaination for this.
