Teletubbies Conspiracy Theories!

The second one wasn't even a theory.... that's just a fact...

I remember as a kid being terrified of this show. It always felt so uncanny and out of place... The thing that freaked me out the most were the Voice Trumpets, they would always randomly appear from underground....and it just seemed wrong. The baby-face sun didn't bother me, but those voice trumpets did... While hiding behind a beanbag during all the scenes the voice trumpets appeared, I began thinking....And an insane theory was born.

I bring to you a theory that has NEVER been thought up before (relating to THIS topic)... Teletubbies takes place in a post apocalyptic future. And those voice trumpets....are their parents... This is the backstory/lore (yeah, I know...kinda stupid to think something like *this* could possibly have an ounce of lore)

A nuclear war had broke out on earth a few years ago, almost all life was wipe clean off the face of the planet. A group of primates take refuge underground. Two of them were parents taking care of four children. They were rushed into the underground shelter having no time to save their four kids. The war leaves a very barren and vacant hill filled land. The four children were left stranded above. Over a few years they live alone among the long lasting radiation on this empty wasted land. They suffer from cellular damage and gain mutations as a result of the radiation poisoning.

Their anatomy becomes disfigured from the excessive mutations, along with losing the top layer of fur (only leaving a layer of thick peach fuzz). The radiation damages their brain cells and they develop a number of mental issues including schizophrenia and dementia. These damages cause them to hallucinate, seeing a world that is far from reality. They have some technology left over from the former civilization which now lives underground. They rely on one other to survive. Their parents find a way to communicate with their children through voice trumpets, doing their very best to parent them from underground. They know they will never be able to see their children again and only have the voice trumpets left.

I came up with the foundation of this theory when I was around five....Back then I only thought of the explanation for the voice trumpets and the parents being underground. I came up with the rest of the theory over the years. I just find it interesting that this show made me think as a kid, just not in the way it was aiming to.

My theory is that they are being contained in a giant dome containment chamber (very much like slendertubbie's) and the voice in the speaker's is actually a scientist and that would also explain why the fan thing force's them to sleep (because the scientist's can control the dome thing) and Noo noo is a robot made to study them. just a theory that most likely has been made before

My theory:

The reason the baby is there is the fact it's in a child's mind. The voice is the dad. The tubbys are in the imagery kids friends/entertainment.

I listened to the (german) intro with headphones today, and suddenly heard whispers like in subliminal music, repeating "teletubbies, teletubbies, teletubbies", alternating between the right and left ear. When you don't listen carefully it sounds just like music playing, like a rhythm. You can hear it very clearly when the woman starts speaking. I don't know about the intro music in other countries. But has anyone else heard that? It's very scary.
