Weezer, Nirvana, Radiohead, CTE... Bands that took major influence from The Pixies. Weezer Did a cover of Velouria... This! It's not a cover, it's not just a minor, barely noticeable nuance... Grouplove wrote an original Pixies song put together from different Pixies songs over the years. Vocal nuances, Guitar Riffs, The Bassline, Drums... I'm a huge, long time Pixies fan. The music snob in me wants to hate this on principle. But... The Pixies aren't a band you copy to make a joke. It's clear that this was meant as a tribute. and Grouplove nailed it! love this track!
