Blackfield is the collaboration between Israeli songwriter and musician Aviv Geffen, and British musician and producer Steven Wilson. The collaboration, extending from their self-titled debut in 2004 to their superb return with album V in 2017, has proven to be a prolific partnership for creating striking and affecting music.

This album combines an uncommonly potent mixture of sweet and tart elements, and is named after the very first Blackfield collaboration, Open Mind.

Glad to see "End of the World" closing the album. I was lucky enough to see them live here in L.A a few years ago and they were pretty great. I've seen SW many times starting in 2005, but he really took a back seat to Aviv, who was one of the most charismatic people I've ever seen in concert.

I tried to buy the blackfield - Open Mind LPs in the various shops and with regret I must say that they are all WAVY At the fourth attempt I gave up.😭😭😭

This will only be worth it if there is anything new. Like bonus tracks other wise just buy
Blackfield 1and 2 A’s the others (especially 3 and 4) are not worth another outlay.
