The garlic mayo and the chopped bacon takes this to a whole new level. And you're not weird, I like warm potato salad as well. Is it a Latin thing? Who knows. =)

That looks delicious! My daughter is the same way about eating warm pasta or potato salads. If there is left overs in the fridge, she will heat it up a bit in the microwave before eating it.

I prefer warm potato salad too. I use bacon and diced granny smith apples. Sometimes frozen peas depending on my mood.
