I have the same problem just put some hot glue in the chain to the tail. Get the tiniest little bit of fur at the end of the tail and press it onto the hot glue. It's just regular hot glue. You can find it at any craft store hope this helps. It helps me.💗🐾

Tip for taxidermy tails. Most good ones have a slit someware in the lether. Open that up and use a dtrong glue to goue a shoelace onto the lether, and sew thr strip up. Lether dries over time, bjt this will prevent the tail from breaking off in pieces
