This reminded me of StarCraft Map Editor... I used it in 2000/2001 when I was still in school. So user-friendly and triggering imagination. Even a school boy can make an awesome map, place unit, tinkering with the stats, timed events.

It was awesome for that age. ✨

I think this has the possibility to change the artist 'meta'. So far artists had to develop an insane technical ability to express their ideas. This kind of software might bridge that gap between your imagination and technical ability. At least a little bit. Perhaps we will never have to study the leaf patterns of trees, or learn to draw tiled floors or draw straight lines of architecture in perspective, which is honestly all kinda annoying and painful. To me this feels very promising, at not really scary, at least so far.

I wish it wouldn’t stop at realism, but also allow the option for more cartoony art styles. Since there are many different cartoony art styles, it would be good to teach the program what type of style we’re looking for by feeding it examples similar to what we want. The AI would learn from those examples, and combine that knowledge with other information that it has gathered about art in order to create an outcome. Although the AI should learn from the different examples, it’s important that no copyright laws are broken in the final result.

just started today to play with and ... it's amazing. I can't stop thinking it's like looking at the starting of new way accelerating ideas, it will be a great compagnon to explore new concepts with an immersive feedback. Hope we will feed it with many things in the futur and guiding it with more personal mood boards, and maybe some arch and creatures mixing it with 3D.
