325,000 lb Transformer Delivery in Indiana

Buckingham transloaded a 325,000 lb transformer from a railcar to 12 lines of Goldhofer Modular Platform Trailer. The transformer was hauled 5 miles to a substation for a new solar farm. Once at the site, the truck was unhooked and the self-propel capability of the trailer was used to get it into the small site. The transformer was slid onto the new foundation and rotated to the correct orientation.
