Tokyo by Train (2016) | Riding First Train to Last

Tokyo by Train (2016). What would it be like to ride on Tokyo's trains from first train to last? Japan's trains are famous for their convenience. I love them so much I decided to ride them all day, visitings tons of stations (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyo). Sadly, I never got pushed on a train during rush hour by the infamous train pushers.

Yes, this is a re-upload from my Life Where I'm From X channel from 2016. I figured that there are many people on this main LWIF channel that have never seen this video before. Plus, let's try out Premiere for the first time and watch it together!

Hey everyone! Hope to see you at the Premiere (July 4th, 10PM JST). First time trying this. Decided to do it with an old favourite from the X channel (i.e. this is a re-upload but I'll be watching and commenting on it live at that time). Bye for now!

This is an excellent documentary. The only improvement I can think of is a map in the corner showing your path.

I watched this video four times! And it always amazes my how well maintained and clean the stations and trains are, also everybody waits patiently in lines for the trains, japanese people are really polite and respectful

My god I never witness such a cute scene like the two man golf swing (in the middle of train station) before. It made me love Japan even more.

I've been trapped so long in this house, I never dreamed I'd actually miss seeing crowded trains/train stations!

I was planning on coming back to Japan in winter and sadly, I probably have less than a 5% chance of that happening at this point. So your videos help me relive memories ❤️

I wish transit was as expansive as Japans, everywhere else in the world. I'll always remember how easy it was to get around Japan!

My niece moved to Tokyo over 12 years ago to attend Waseda University, she has made a wonderful life for herself! Shes married with a beautiful baby girl. Watching your videos over the years has made me feel connected Japanese culture and life. Your videos are definitely on fleek :) :)

can we get a series of greg touring the world, showing us the culture and infrastructure in different countries? his documentary style is so easy to watch, his calm demeanour (plus chill canadian accent) makes him easy to listen to and the information/content is easy to digest! i need this now, netflix

What I notice about this is that Japan is constantly developing to some of the problems it's facing even though it is seen as superbly developed than the rest of the world (the road repairs, late trains, and even people falling on train tracks). Change really is constant and vital for a country that I wish every government should emulate. Thank you for this!

"The doors on the left side will open".. that's the same announcement in the new Jakarta's MRT built by Japan contractor.
