As a neuroscience specialist, this is tremendously exciting but also slightly daunting. There's no shortage of research to undertake, which is great from an academia stand-point, but that also means new and newly understood information is constantly being published, making the half-life of neuro difficult to keep up with. Super duper difficult to keep up with. Most of the course material in University-level courses is out-dated until 4th year, at which point you're primarily looking at newly published research and working backwards from there to see what information they used as a basis for their experiments, STRESSFULLY FUN.

"97 brain regions you never knew existed" would be this videos clickbait name.

Any chance of exploring the technology of Kinesiology - and the Kinesio Tape... Could be especially relevant / interesting with the run up to Rio. Thank you for keeping the wonder of science burning brightly here on YouTube. All the best. Tom.

I'd like to have a video explaining the new map as opposed to just stating there is one. maybe in the future?

Is it just me, or does Hank look like he was recorded in a lower resolution, and then interpolated to this 1080p background, or maybe its a bit overexposed? Probably a combination of those two. It just seems a bit off to me.

this is awesome, this can provide so much helpful insight into how we memorize information and how to cure mental illnesses

I saw an article saying that in the future it will be possible for two people of the same gender to be able to have a baby using a technique similar to the clone's one. Taking the nucleus from a male, put it into a hollow female egg cell and fertilize it with another male's sperm. for example. I'd like to know more about it! An interesting theme as well.

Neurology is the best :) thank you for informing me about how it has gotten even more awesome. I am a neuroscience minor & I am hoping to use this knowledge to save lives through pharmaceutical toxicology.

Dolly was named after Dolly Parton because the somatic cell chosen came from the mammary glands, which was a iconic feature of miss Parton ;)

Speaking of brains, can you do one on cerebral aneurysms? I had one rupture at 19 and would love to learn more!

Where can I get a copy of that map? I've lost my mind and perhaps a map can help me find it.

Do we have ways to create "artificial wombs" for cloning/etc yet?
