Meet Urologic Oncologist Patrick Kenney, MD

Patrick A. Kenney, MD joined the Department of Urology at Yale New Haven Hospital as an Assistant Professor in July 2013. Dr. Kenney joined Yale from MD Anderson Cancer Center where he completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology. He was also a Clinical Specialist in the Department of Critical Care. He received his MD from Columbia University and completed his surgical internship and urology residency at Lahey Clinic and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Kenney cares for patients with genitourinary cancer (primarily kidney, bladder, and upper tract [ureter and renal pelvis]) at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven. He is expert in robotic and open cancer surgery. His research interests include clinical trials in the adjuvant and neo-adjuvant settings as well as for treatment-resistant cancers.
