2022 Subaru BRZ: First Look & Ride Along

After a long wait, we finally get our first look at the new 2022 #subaru #brz coupe. Editor Brett Evans takes us around the new sports car and goes for a quick ride along to see what the new car is all about.

I had the “old one” and absolutely LOVED that car!

Love all the design decisions that will make this car timeless. No faddy headlights, no fake vents, no fake exhaust, no pumped in exhaust note, 6 speed manual. Subaru designed a classic.

I’ve seen others just slam this car and the lack of power. This new BRZ gets a little extra HP but some keep saying it’s not enough. Get over it man, it’s not always about power. In this case it’s about having fun in a well balanced sports car.
Can’t wait to see the reviews running on an autocross track.

That front end is gorgeous. The rear, not so much. But this is overall a much better looking car than the previous generation.

Absolutely love it front and back. All angles. The front reminds me of my old Honda Civic ES 2.0 i-Vtec. Fantastic handling. Looking forward for the launching.

Waited decades for a car that appeals to me. I like the new BRZ grill more than anything else. The last nice-looking sports car for me was a 1978 Datsun 280Z in maroon. In 1979, the Z was uglified big time. I bought my 1978 Z in 1983 and sold in 1987 when we had kids. I will be buying the 2022 BRZ.

First thing I'd do is lower it. The wheel gap on the BRZ just looks ridiculous.
