I actually live in Bergstein right on the former Hill 400 and I gotta say, this map is impressively accurate.
Safe for the railway route which did never actually curve to the West after Zerkall but rather keeps on heading eastwards, it's all there IRL as well. Even the place names are accurate, Federhecke (= "Feather's Hedge"), Eselsweg (= "Donkey Path"), Burgstraße (= "Castle Road") and even the old paper mill in Zerkall; it's all still here.

Another point to what u were saying, about how they usually put garrisons on the sides. Because there's only so many roads leading to the other sides. It's smart when the points get captured or whatever the situation. Drop tank mines in the middle of the roads where the push should be coming though most tanks won't drive thur the woods on this map or will get stuck easy but ur stop there supply trucks coming to if they push ur side

Forest warfare in real life was very chaotic, so this game is just a reflection of reality.

Recon tank still works pretty good on this map, you can drive through the forests pretty easily

I find listening to footsteps veeery useful in forest maps. Lots of people dont listen properly to their surroundings.
